Conference Overview
Minority and women owned business enterprises (“M/WBEs”) have been significant economic contributors in the U.S. economy. On average, they have generated better returns and have grown at greater rates than their non-minority business counterparts. In addition, they have achieved these accolades without an equal access to capital and outside expertise. In an effort to help facilitate and continue the growth of the M/WBE sector, Mohimi Ventures is proud to present the Fourth Annual National Access to Capital for Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises Conference (“Conference”).
Built upon the success of the previous three Conferences and emphasizing on the access to capital and best practices management techniques, this national Conference is dedicated to enhancing access to and management of capital for middle and undercapitalized markets. The Conference will also focus on identifying the unique value drivers that M/WBEs present that conventional methods of investment banking ignore. As access to capital continues to be the critical issue of our nation’s business development, particularly in the M/WBE sector, an open dialogue of the necessary tools to overcome this major developmental hurdle will take place in order to improve our nation’s economic growth.
This imperative initiative will again attract and utilize best-in-class specialists and thought leaders that collectively have expertise in a variety capacities including: corporate finance, venture capital, market strategies, procurement, general management, and top-line revenue growth. Catalyzing the exchange of ideas between M/WBEs and industry professionals will inspire new opportunities and open new markets for financial and expert services to foster healthy business relationships between the minority and mainline business sectors.
